Trimming your horse to perfection!

If you are planning to give your horse a makeover, here's a great selection of videos that will help to brush up your skills. If you are going to clip, you'll definitely want to watch eventer Wayne Garrick's brilliant clipping video, peppered with his unique sense of humour, plus there's clipping a youngster at eventer Polly Williamson's yard.

Wayne gives his top tip for making your horses legs super white (just like your washing!) and Bryan Higham (who was in charge of Badminton Stables for 50 years), gives the benefit of his experience (not to mention wisdom) on tail pulling and trimming, as does top show rider Louise Bell. Louise trims heels to perfection and eventer Kitty Boggis has a nifty trick for pulling manes. Plus Laura B's groom Carol demonstrates grooming the 'Bechtolsheimer way' on Mistral Hojris! There's nothing like watching and immediately putting the learning into practise on your horse!
