Advice on working in the horse industry
Hi, i am in Australia so it maybe differant over in England but my advise would be to get a part time job working at a local shop or something to earn abit of money and then save 10% of that for rainy days and put a proportion into an account to save up for a cheap car.

How did you start out in the horse industry?
If you want to be hands on rather than academic then, if I were you I would try to get a place in a top training yard, but not a pure dressage yard, it is important to have a broader understanding , you need to be riding a lot of horses, so although you can expect to do a lot of mucking out, you must agree with the yard the extent of training you will be given.
