What a treat! We were honoured to be filming at one of the finest and most traditional equestrian yards in the world. A hunt yard for most of the year, it’s home to 100 event horses during the Badminton Horse Trials. We explore the yard and Brian’s office where we discover treasures dating back a hundred years. Brian Higham talks to Fiona Price, March '08.

Susie Preest from Badminton Stables, with presenter Fiona Price. On one of the Beaufort Hunt’s last hunting days in the 2007/8 season, we watched Susie plaiting a horse, before being loaded onto the lorry. Susie, who’s worked at this yard for nearly 28 years, favours the needle and thread method because she says the plaits are more durable for a full day’s hunting. Nifty finger work, Susie!
